Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and TPOMFG LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as ResumeReady (we, us). They cover the website at resumeready.work and everything you can do on it. By creating an account or using the demo, you agree to them.
We have tried to write these in plain language. Where a section limits what we owe you, it is in bold, because you should not have to hunt for it.
1. What ResumeReady does
You photograph a resume, or type one in. We read it, help you rewrite it, and give you a formatted resume you can download as a PDF or a Word document. Some of that work is done by an artificial intelligence model.
2. What ResumeReady does not promise
We do not promise you a job, an interview, a callback, or that any particular employer or applicant tracking system will accept, parse, or favor your resume. We build the resume. What happens after you send it is outside our control and outside this agreement.
3. AI output, and your responsibility to check it
The extraction and rewriting steps are performed by an AI model, and AI models get things wrong. Handwriting in particular can be misread. Where the model is unsure of a reading, the app tells you so and flags the field - but it will not catch everything, and an unflagged field is not a guaranteed-correct field.
You are responsible for reading your resume before you send it to anyone. Everything on it is a statement you are making about yourself to an employer. Check the dates, the employers, the job titles, the numbers, and the credentials. If something is wrong, fix it in the editor before you download.
The AI is instructed not to invent facts, and the feature that adds depth to a thin resume works by asking you questions rather than writing answers for you. That is a design choice we take seriously, but it is not a guarantee, and it does not replace you reading your own resume.
4. Your account
You need an account for most of the product. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping access to the email address or Google account you sign in with. Tell us at info@tpomfg.com if you think someone else has gotten into it.
You must be at least 13 years old to use ResumeReady. If you are under 18, you may only use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and we will delete an account we learn belongs to someone under 13.
5. Your resume is yours
You own what you put into ResumeReady and what comes out of it. We do not claim ownership of your resume, and we do not sell it.
You give us a limited licence to do the specific things the product has to do: store your resume if you choose to save it, send it to the AI provider named in our Privacy Policy so it can be read and rewritten, and render it into a downloadable file for you. That licence exists to run the service and for no other purpose. It ends when you delete the resume or your account.
We do not use your resume to train AI models, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.
6. What you may not do
Upload only your own resume, and only your own personal information.Do not upload a document containing another person's personal information - not a colleague's resume, not a stack of applications, not an intake form somebody else filled in. If you do, you are responsible for it, and we may remove it and close your account.
You also may not:
- Misrepresent your experience, credentials, licences, or employment history. We give you tools to describe real work well; using them to fabricate work is a breach of these terms.
- Use the service on someone else's behalf as a commercial resume-writing business without a written agreement with us.
- Work around the usage limits, share or resell access, or automate requests to the site.
- Attempt to break, probe, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or to another user's data. If you find a security problem, please tell us at info@tpomfg.com rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
7. Usage limits
Free accounts and the demo each get a small number of scans and AI runs to try the product; a paid unlock removes the limits. The current limits are shown in the app. They exist because every scan and every rewrite costs us money, and they may change. We will not change them retroactively to take away something you have already paid for.
8. Paid features, if you buy them
Paid features may be offered from time to time. If you buy one, the price is what is shown to you at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never receive or store your card number. Taxes may be added where required.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: 7 days, no questions asked, up until you download a finished resume.
9. Availability, and changes to the service
We run this as a real service and we intend it to stay up, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features may change or be removed. If we discontinue something you have paid for and cannot offer a comparable replacement, we will refund it.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that the service will meet your requirements.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limit on what we owe you
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service or these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars ($100).
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost employment, lost wages, or loss of data, even if we were told such damages were possible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Your indemnity to us
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, from content you upload, or from your use of a resume produced with the service - including any claim that a document you uploaded contained another person's information without their permission.
13. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why unless doing so would be unlawful or would compromise a security investigation. Sections 5, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive the end of this agreement.
14. Governing law, and how disputes get handled
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Talk to us first. Before filing anything, email us at info@tpomfg.com with a description of the problem and what you want. We will do the same before filing anything against you. Most things are fixable in an email, and both sides agree to give that 30 days to work.
If it is not resolved, the courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we consent to venue there. This does not stop either of us from bringing a claim in small claims court.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version and effective date are stamped at the bottom of every page. If a change is material, we will tell you before it takes effect and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
16. The whole agreement
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service. If a court finds part of this unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something once does not waive it.
